Bio
Emily K. Perdomo is a soulful Cuban-American actress and multi-faceted artist from the sunny shores of Miami, Florida
A recent graduate of the BFA Acting program at New World School of the Arts College and the University of Florida, her favorite credits include Madame Ragueneau in Cyrano, Witch 1/Donalbain/Porter in Mac Beth, and Harper in Angels in America.
Beyond acting, Emily’s artistry spans photography, special effects makeup, production design, and theatremaking. She is the founder of Emmppathy.jpeg Photography, a creative venture dedicated to capturing the human experience with authenticity and emotional depth. Through her lens, Emily practices “the art of noticing,” preserving not just moments, but the raw emotions, stories, and connections that define us.
For Emily, art is a survivor; of time, of trauma, and of the transient nature of life itself. She believes that art carries within it the memory of both the artist and the era from which it comes. Whether on stage, behind the camera, or designing worlds, her work is driven by a profound desire to explore the reciprocity of existence and human behavior: the delicate dance between how we shape the world and how the world shapes us.
Through her creative collective, The Open Space, Emily champions bold, underrepresented narratives and fosters a collaborative environment where marginalized stories can thrive. She envisions art as an emotional and existential anchor; a source of solace, meaning, and shared humanity in a world that can so often feel chaotic or disconnected.
Emily’s ultimate goal is to continue broadening her horizons as an actor and creator, bringing her unique perspective to both theatre and film. In every medium she touches, she strives to evoke understanding, spark empathy, and celebrate the profound beauty of being alive.
